As you can guess from the title, I'll be driving from
J'burg to The Cape via Kruger (2-3 days) and I was
wondering how long the ride would take if hurried.
Thanks in advance.

You mean JHB to CapeTown. Via Kruger, it will take 3 days.
Minimum.
Of course...you won't SEE shit, because you'll be driving
all the time. Rather skip Kruger, if you on that kind of
time-frame.
Better still, skip CT!
Do you name Kruger to the enormous NP? If it is and you are
really in a hurry, skip Kruger: it is East Jo'burg and Cape
Town is West.
the problem is that Cape Town is really nice and also once
you get the Kruger NP you'll want to spend a looong time
exploring it. What to avoid? difficult choice!

Driving JHB to Capetown is about 1100 kilometers or so. The
road is in a good condition and thus you might drive it in a
full day (starting 5 in the morning, and arriving 23:00).
Again, skip Kruger, that is another half day driving from
JHB.
I cant skip Kruger!
Skip CT then!
or skip JHB and fly from Kruger to CT. Kruger is still
closer to JHB, and i don't have a clue what you want to do
in CT.
When you would be in europe you would try to drive from
Paris to Barcelona and squeeze in a trip to Amsterdam...all
in three days.
Or in the US you would ask to drive Chicago to New York and
sqeeze in a side trip to Boston...
Try to see the unlogic in your request...skip Kruger or
spend more time there
that he will be driving Joburg to Cape Town, INCLUDING 2-3
days in Kruger. Then again, maybe not.
SA is a big country! If you want to see Kruger and Cape
Town, and this is understandable, do yourself a favor and
fly. Trust me - it's a loooooong drive.
