Hurghada-Cairo land route

Hi!
Do you have the experience in taking this
(Hurghada-Cairo) route by land with public transport (bus
or train)? I'm particularly interested how long does it
take, how much the ticket costs, and how frequent are the
trains/buses.
I'd be very grateful for your help.

    There are several buses and companies, giving the option of daytime or overnight bus, with a decent bus it shouldn't take more than 6/7 hours. You should ask on spot for best priceavailable, I haven't been recently but it should be in the LEG 60 - 100 range for quality aircon bus, less than half if you're going for cheapest offer.
