I was in Nairobi when all hell broke loose in Uganda...just
remember that you are situated between the DRC and
Rwanda....the general sentiment is that those tourists were
taking a risk by being there. However, security has been
beefed up since the incident....bad things happen everywhere
in this world so enjoy your trip...and sleep well.

  2. Youth Mission Trip in Uganda Added by: Mona Hill (monafin@ix.netcom.com)

    A group of 12 youth (17 & 18 years old) and 2 youth pastors
are traveling to Uganda June 10-17. This is a mission trip
and the story of salvation from the New Testament will be
    shared.
We believe that God will protect these youth, but we also
know that God gives those who seek it, the wisdom for
handling difficult situations. When I spent time in India
in January 1999, I benefitted from wisdom shared by those
who were there or had recently been there in how to wisely
    share the Gospel.
Please share with me any precautions these youth should be
aware of. You may forward this information to my e-mail
    address: monafin@ix.netcom.com.
And if you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord, please
remember these incredible kids in your prayers. If you
don't believe in Jesus, I hope you run into one of these
    kids someday. God bless all!
