I'm looking for information on overland travel from
Victoria Falls to Cape Town. How do the bus and train
journeys between the two cities compare in terms of price,
comfort, timetables, and speed? I also need specific
information about bus and train companies/services between
the two locations.
Thanks in advance.

    Hi John.
Is it just a transit you are looking for or an actual overland tour? Most of the overland trucks offer transits back down to C.Town once the tours have finished. It's deffinately cheaper this way than to go by bus or train.
    Cheers Suzy

    Thanks Suzy.
Its just transit that I'm after so I was wondering how
buses and trains compared in terms of frequency, routes,
    speed, and price.

An easy way to do this would be to book a ticket for
the Route 49 - this is a bus used by backpackers,
and runs once a week between Bulawayo and CT.
From there, a Bulawayo to CT connections are easy.
Off the top of my head, as I'm not currently in the
office - I think it costs about R600 (ish!!)
There are no direct links between CT and Vic Falls
If I can help you with any info you need or expand on
