Morocco - Get on a Kombi

Am heading for Morocco in mid July, starting from the UK.
I was wondering if anyone that has been there has seen many
travelers pooling their resources and doing the Kombi
thing? I would be really interested in joining a few
others that may already have plans to head the same way in
a Kombi, as I won't have the time in the UK to organize a
vehicle myself...otherwise, I was just planning on
backpacking on my own using the trains and buses. Any
suggestions?
