Where to go July or August

I have some more vacation time coming to me and I'd like
some suggestions as to where I should spend my time. I'll
either go in July or August and don't want to spend over
$2000. I'll be traveling solo and have already been to
England, France, Grand Cayman, St Lucia, British Virgin
Islands, Germany, Italy, Greece and Turkey.
I'm going to Singapore in December, so I don't want to go
there either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

  2. Mexico!! Added by: debi

I can't reccommend Mexico enough, especially the Colonial
cities like Morelia, Merida, Mexico City, Chiapas, San
Cristabel. Also Taxco is you like little towns with
universities and beautiful silver jewellery. And it is very
economical, you can get a hotel room at a little Mexican
hotel for 40 pesos in some towns. Last year for me, that
was $8.00!! The food is great, as is the music and there is
many different cultural groups in Mexico, it's like going
to many little countries. Well worth it! Mexico has
something for everybody! So diverse and good mix of old and
    new.

  3. Try the Philippines Added by: Rod V (rodvince@skyinet.net)

My country, the Philippines, is made up of 7,100 islands. I'm sure you will fall in love with the enchanting Amanpulo Island in Palawan. It is uncrowded and has a white sand beach. El Nido in Palawan is also breathtakingly beautiful with its lagoons, and secluded coves. Other equally famous beaches in the Philippines are Boracay Island in Aklan, Mactan Island in Cebu, Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte, the Hundred Islands in Pangasinan,San Juan and Bauang beaches in La Union, Guimaras Island, Camiguin Island, the Island Garden City of Samal in Davao, Apo Island in Negros Oriental and Puerto Galera in Mindoro. If you want to go spelunking, we have Sagada in Mountain Province and the Callao Caves in Cagayan. If you want to see waterfalls, we have the Pagsanjan Falls in Laguna and the Maria Cristina Falls in Iligan City. Unless you want to buy something in our shopping malls, I won't recommend Manila because of its irritating traffic. You may visit these websites: http://www.tourism.gov.ph and http://www.lakbay.net.ph
Come and see the beautiful islands of the Philippines!!!
