Need advice on good places to elope. Would prefer to go to a
place where I could get a Roman Catholic or Anglican priest.
I've heard Scotland, Hawaii, Nevada are all good places, but
I need more info.

quickly.
Portland OR has MANY Irish Catholic Priest and the Church of Elvis.
They would be a perfect setting for a
wedding/honeymoon!!!!!!!!! With the U.S. exchange rate it
would fairly inexpensive! If you've never seen them you
could rent the movie called The Edge it was filmed in Banff
National Park. If this interets you you can email me and

My fiance and I are going to be going to Vancouver and
Vancouver Island. All we know is about applying for a
marriage liscense and the two day waiting period. Anyone
have some good advice for us on places to go and ways to
make this special time even more special.
My fiancee want to get married someplace romantic with no
religious structure and no long waiting period or legal
requirements. Any suggestions?
My husband and I married in Thailand at the Banyan Tree
Resort, Phuket, it was gorgeous. Very cheap, of course, and
you can get a Catholic Priest if you want, or go for a
monk's blessing. There's not much in the way of legal
requirements either, just visit your embassy in Bangkok,
sign a form, take it to the department of foreign affairs,
fill out a form, pick the completed form up in 2 days time
and wa la. Then you have to take it to a registry office
after the ceremony, although the priest may do that, you'll
have to ask the resort (as we didn't use the priest).

Las Vegas is very easy.There's a drive in chapel I hear.
My boyfriend and I want to elope, but I can't find a lot of information on good places to go and how we can take care of all the paperwork needed. Since airfares are so cheap right now I wouldn't mind flying somewhere. Any advice from anyone that has been there and recommends it to someone else. Please help!
We live in the Philadelphia area and are looking for a
place to elopeto the dosen't involve to much travel. We
already have a vacation planed for May...we just don't want
to wait until then. What about Elkton, MD or the Poconos?
Please give me advice on some areas to elope with in the
Atlanta, Ga area or some where that doesn't involve a lot of
driving. I live in MS. Maybe no more than 4 or 5 hours of
driving. My fiance will not get on a plane!
