im hoping to be in india for @ 3 months, wandering @ the country and im just wondering how much money id need to do this. im not fussy

    I always speak even if not spoken to. A seasoned traveler recommended that I budget about $1000/month for developed-world travel and $500/month for less-developed -world travel.
    And I head a tale that one Western ne'er do well was able to live decently in India on $4,000 over the course of a year. You do the math.

    Ok I just got back from India and was there for 5 monthes...
    I spent 2,500 U.S. but I was livin pretty good, and went to
    Goa...so most of my money was invested in
    pharmiceuticals...if you know what I mean...hehehehe
    just a tip before i go...when in India head straight
    south..it may be a little hot there now...but the south is
    soooo much better than the north..I mean its cheaper people
    are more shanty...and its a real good scene.. have fun..
    and beware of DELHI BELLY!!!!!!
