GX 301-2

The GX 301-2 rotational period data were retrieved from the HEAO-1 satellite's A2 instrument. The students will determine the orbital period and the stellar rotation period, which are 41.5 days and 700 seconds, respectively. This is a system where a rotating neutron star is in orbit with a supergiant B star.
