Superbubbles
Superbubbles are produced as large hot stars interact with the
surrounding interstellar medium. When stellar winds combine with
supernova explosions in a relatively small region of space, a
superbubble is produced. Inside is a large cavity filled with very
tenuous hot gas. If the gas inside is hot enough, it emits
X-rays.
