Where is the closest neutron star?
The Answer
The neutron star which we currently rank as "nearest to Earth" is a radio
pulsar called J0108-1431. It is within 100 parsecs of the Sun. A parsec is
a unit of distance in astronomy; it is equal to 3.26 light years, or 3.1 x
1018 cm.
