'It's so easy to identify which he is Chinese, or Japanese. I give him a question and his answer is "No." then he is Chinese, "Yes." then he is Japanese.'

So far as I know at least at English-language-area, as made like this joke as Japanese people --especially in daily communication-- have an inclination to avoid 'say "No" (or rather do refuse)' and apologize over needed was known # in this 20 to 30 years (?) by popularization of TV etc. #

At here, I dispach fruit of my study about culture endemic to Japan, with mention Japanese language on a part.
