Menu Bar

Use the Transport menu to access playback functions used while listening to music. You can also access a majority of these functions from the Play Controller Panel.


Which menu item do you want to use?

Play (Ctrl+Space)

Begins playback of the selected song, and continues through the entire playlist.

Pause (Pause)

Pauses playback at the current position. Choose Pause again to resume play.

Stop (Ctrl+Space)

Halts playback of the current song.

Previous Song (Ctrl+Up)

Returns the transport to the beginning of the current song and begins playback. If SIREN was at the beginning of the song, the transport returns to the previous song and begins to playback.

Next Song (Ctrl+Down)

Moves the transport to the next song and begins playback.

Continuous Play (Ctrl+L)

Choosing this command plays the current playlist or CD in its entirety, then returns to the beginning to continue playback. Choose this command again to place SIREN in Play Once mode.

Randomize (Ctrl+K)

Choosing this command plays the tracks of the current playlist or CD in a random order. Choose this command again to place SIREN in Play in Order mode.

Eject

Ejects the CD from the active CD-ROM drive.

Mute (F11)

Mutes the sound as playback continues.
