Short and Sweet Submissions Policy The Apple Collection is for you, by you and its all for fun and entertainment. This means its continued success depends upon creative Mac users submitting their work for inclusion in the various collections on The Apple Collection.
We will gratefully consider your submissions such as desktop pictures, startup screens, photos with Mac, prototype images or design, Apple collectible, icons, hints & tips articles. It must be stressed that all submissions should be your own creation.
One of the privileges of running a site such as The Apple Collection is that we reserve the right on whether or not your submission is posted. Usually you will receive an email confirming that we received your submission and in the more obvious cases, we may even confirm that your submission WILL get posted.
Submissions should be your own creation or that you have the right to publish your submission. No legal mumbo jumbo here on copyright issues, we trust you so please don't betray this trust and that of fellow surfers in general and Mac users in particular.
By default then, we also reserve the right to remove posted or past submissions for reasons including, but not limited to, server space limitations, issues and objections regarding originality, time since submission was posted and intellectual property concerns, without notice.
Submissions must be done via email and files sent as an attachment. Multiple files should be placed inside a folder and stuffed using a utility such as Stuffit™. Please name the stuffed file with your name and then its appropriate extension (eg: "yourname.sit").
Include the following info either in a text file or in the body of your email:
Your full name,
Your web site address, if applicable,
Explicitly state whether you wish your email address to be published***
Freeware, Shareware info but ...
we prefer "Read Me" files to be part of your stuffed attachment.
We respect your privacy and normally do not release nor sell email addresses or any other personal info acquired on The Apple Collection. Since we have no control on what Email Bots can do, we will only publish email addresses in one of two conditions:
You've won a prize on The Apple Collection or
You EXPLICITLY requested that you wish to have your email address published.
