The innovative German design of this product not only makes it attractive but extremely practical. The curved handle is well balanced and very comfortable and the completely transparent water tanks makes filling simplicity itself.
The level of design is equaled by its performance.
Rowenta, maker of the Surfline iron, said that the designs were quite similar. Steve Jones, marketing manager at Rowenta, gave Marquis the following statement: "Rowenta is flattered to see that the new iMac design bears a close resemblance to our Surfline iron, which was launched five years ago. We wish Apple all the success with iMac that we have had with our irons."
Apple had a different take. When Marquis brought up the Surfline, the representative said, "One's a computer, one's an iron. What's your point?" As of air time, we had not received an official statement from Apple. http://www.rowentausa.com/html/owning/surfline.html
