At today's Macworld keynote, Apple CEO, Steven Jobs, and the company's highly acclaimed chief designer Jonathon Ive, stunned an attentive audience by first announcing that no faster G4 machines were being announced, and no G5 machines were coming in the foreseeable future. In the din of the sustained crowd noise that followed, Jobs moved theatrically to a pillar display at stage center and quickly took the wraps off of what he then discussed for 45 minutes as the first of the company's upcoming consumer products: iVac.
