Clubbing companion

Perhaps the T3 crew are too Long in the tooth, but the one thing that grates when you go clubbing is the fact you can’t hear people talk over the loud thumping dance music. We may be old fuddy-duddies, but a design company called Smallfry has come up with a communications concept to aLleviate that problem and bring us a whole Load of other handy clubbing features too.

Designed as a necklace press-pass sized accessory, the Ion can get you pre-paid entry into clubs, enable you to communicate with other Ion users via text, images or handwritten messages, and is an ideal tool to chat up the fairer sex and swop details. Smallfry claims it will work using Bluetooth technoLogy and a central SDP server within the club, setting up an isolated network. As yet there are no plans to market this concept.
