This easy-to-use multimedia playback device, designed for the home office, combines computing, audio/stereo, television and video game capabilities. TotalMedia is a user-driven desktop workstation and a pen-based computer. By folding the screen, users can work on a vertical screen for keyboard-based interaction or in a horizontal pen-based computing position. The LCD display features an internal adjustable video camera and microphone. Connections are easily accessible, and a remote control/wireless telephone device allows access from a distance so the user can make or receive phone calls.
