Representing an entirely new approach to heavy-duty scanners, the Phaser combines mobility, versatility, transmitting power and aesthetics in a barcode scanner that does the job of multiple products. The interchangeable canopy, midsection and handle can be manufactured economically in a variety of configurations, all with the ergonomically superior and intuitive "handle-forward" shape that minimizes stress injuries. A lithium-ion battery pack cuts the cord to allow the user to scan items without moving them.

" Tremendously innovative and cleverly leveraged across two product families, the modular and upgradeable Phaser Barcode Scanners are a perfect balance of design, user-driven ergonomics and good business sense. The scanners are extremely well thoughtout, designed from the inside-out and the outside-in, without apparent compromise. The forms are beautifully balanced between style and ergonomics, including the patent-pending handle forward shape. Even the stands are well conceived and beautifully detailed objects in themselves."
