~4Dgifts/toolbox/src/tutorials/geometer README Geometer is a program that visually teaches/demonstrates concepts of 2-dimensional Euclidean and projective geometry. The following files are included: *.c, *.h: source code. geom.doc: Documentation. Theorems/*/*: Sample files. To specify new files, Showcase must be installed, as geometer uses the IRIS Showcase Browse Gizmo to read file names. Without Showcase, you can still look at files one at a time from the command line, as: geometer foo.T The geom.doc file provides fairly complete documentation, and the Theorems subtree contains a bunch of examples/theorems/proofs/... in various states of completion. If you want to use the "Edit Source" command, the zip editor must be installed (presently located in the toolbox/bin directory--either add this to your path, or copy zip into /usr/sbin or its equivalent). -- Tom Davis (davis@sgi.com)
