Delete command (File menu)

This command deletes the currently selected folders or files. The currently selected folders or files are those which are selected in the active panel of the main window. The active panel is the one that has the selection highlighted.

When the duplicates list is the active panel, the selected files will be all the duplicate files at the selected line. If this is deleted, then all the duplicate files on the selected line will be deleted, leaving no copies of these files.

When files or folders are deleted, they are moved to the recycle bin on your Windows desktop, unless the recycle bin option has been set to permanently delete files immediately.

To change the recycle bin options, right click on the recycle bin icon on the desktop, and choose Properties from the menu that pops up.

To permanently delete files that have been moved to the recycle bin, right click on the recycle bin icon on the desktop, and choose Empty Recycle Bin from the menu that pops up.
