1. How did you get started in cake decorating?

I had a really close family friend who would bake all of her kids' birthday cakes and did my "Sweet 16" and graduation cake. I was fascinated by how she did it, so I started playing around with it. Once I decided that it was something I was was really interested in I took classes at a local craft store. I began making cakes for family and friends and it took off from there.

3. Do you ship out of state?

We do not currently ship out of state. Due to the fragile nature of the cakes, we require pick-up from our bakery or delivery to the event venue. Shipping would also take several days, resulting in a cake that has lost its desired freshness.

4. How can I learn cake decorating?

Cake decorating is a wonderful art form that is easily learned at home on your own or with an instructor at a local bakery/craft store. There are many videos, forums, and 'How Tos' on the internet that can help you if you are unable to make it to a class. If you would like to learn from a professional, there are many craft stores that offer classes at a small fee.

5. How long does it take to complete a cake?

Our cakes can take anywhere from one (1) day to one (1) week depending on the desired design. Since our cakes are custom designed for each client, our time frames may vary drastically. A simple cake can be completed in one or two (1-2) days whereas a complex design or wedding cake can take much longer, especially if lots of little components and/or intricate details are involved.
