Mac OS X 10.0.1 Available

by Adam C. Engst

Mac OS X 10.0.1 Available -- A mere three weeks after the initial release of Mac OS X 10.0, Apple has released 10.0.1, a 4.1 MB update available via Mac OS X's Software Update control panel (which itself requires a 700K update before it gets the 10.0.1 Update). According to Apple, improvements include better support for third party USB devices, improved performance, better overall application and Classic-mode stability, enhanced support for iTunes, and support for the Secure Shell service (albeit through an older version than is commonly available elsewhere).
