My employer ordered one from Computer City's local outlet in September, and it took two months to arrive because of the backlog. The best advice my Apple contact offered is that if you buy a new Macintosh, don't wait for a separate CD-ROM, because it could be a long wait. Instead, buy a configuration that includes the CD-ROM, because Apple has reserved that supply.
