• Clean up Memory:
  Filer clears its directory cache. All not actually opened devices and libraries will be removed from memory, too.

• Workbench:
  The Workbench screen will be opened or closed — as long as no alien windows are opened on it. If the menu item is selected the Workbench screen is opened.

• Quit:
  This menu item acts exactly as the ``Quit'' gadget.

• Quit & Die:
  Use this menu item to leave Filer if the ``STAY'' option is switch on (refer to ).
