Ben says: What a pile of toot. The producers of this movie must have spent the entire special effects budget on the gun scope sequences and the opening credits (which were very stylish indeed). In fact, I think they must have spent the entire budget for the film on the gun scope special effects because the story - while seeming like it could make for a great movie - turned out to be complete shite, and the character roles were the most transparent cases of stereotyping I have seen at the movies for a while now. I believe even die-hard Arnie fans (sorry Paul), might have a little trouble swallowing this turkey. Talking of Arnie, he was ridiculed publically at the premier of this divebomber because he said that he wanted to take it out of London and into the country, you know, to let the yokels see a dinner jacket, etc. Unfortunately Arnie's idea of the countryside turned out to be Finchley. This caused waves of hilarity for anyone even vaguely knowledgeable about London and its surrounding suburbs since Finchley is no more than eight miles from the heart of the West End. The only bright point on the horizon was Vanessa Williams, and that wasn't for her acting abilities, if you know what I mean, nudge nudge, wink wink.

Anyway, this is possibly the worst film I've seen for a very long time.

Fiona says: Arnie's not at his best in this one. I think he's regressed about fifteen years and so have the special effects. Nevertheless, I have to say, I did enjoy the film simply because the baddies got theirs in the end (kind of (I don't want to spoil it for you)). Potentially, it could have been an excellent adventure movie, but unfortunately the parachute and the crocodiles (or were they alligators?), ruined it for me. Still, at least there wasn't any snogging. And how come the police never turned up at the dock what with all the noise going on? Also, not wishing to be too picky, why didn't the continuity person notice the waistcoat? I'll say no more.
