As of 7/15/94, Intel will only provides virus pattern file updates
for LANDesk Virus Protect Versions 2.0 and later. LANProtect 1.x virus
pattern files will no longer be supported in order to ensure that our
Customers have the latest and most effective anti-virus technology.
The LANDesk Virus Protect upgrade program will be extended to June 30, 1994
to ensure that LANProtect customers can upgrade to the supported version.
LANDesk Virus Protect 2.1 is a maintenance release (free to 2.0 users) that
brings support for NetWare 4.x & SFTIII, a snap-in to Novell's NetWare
Management System (NMS), and enhanced workstation functionality including
scheduled scanning and OS/2 Native support. This release is now available
on the Intel BBS in the LANDesk Virus Protect/Current area. The file names
are VP21-1.EXE and VP21-2.EXE.
