  3.     This panel asks you to choose either Computer
  4.     Witchcraft, Inc., or an alternative provider of
  5.     your choice for receiving your Internet/Usenet
  6.     Mail/News services.
  7.  
  8.     If you choose Computer Witchcraft as your service
  9.     provider, the setup process is somewhat simpler, as
  10.     a number of default set up parameters do not need
  11.     to be entered and an automatic account setup module
  12.     is supplied which makes it very easy to
  13.     electronically set up an account with us.  Also, if
  14.     you choose Computer Witchcraft, we can provide
  15.     comprehensive free technical support covering both
  16.     our software and service.

  18.     If you choose an alternative provider, you will
  19.     have to make arrangements for your account with
  20.     that provider, and will have to very carefully
  21.     enter the correct system information supplied by
  22.     your provider to successfully log on to your
  23.     provider's system to transmit mail and news.  You
  24.     may also have to customize the file chat.rc which
  25.     is generated by when you complete the setup
  26.     process. This file is a script which allows WinNET
  27.     to negotiate the login process properly with the
  28.     remote server. (The script generated by setup if
  29.     you choose CWI as your provider will not require
  30.     any modifications). Detailed instructions on
  31.     working with the chat.rc file are contained in the
  32.     file chat.txt.

  37.     Computer Witchcraft offers unrestricted access to
  38.     Internet Mail and to all available Usenet news
  39.     groups, including Clarinet (at no extra charge). 
  40.     Computer Witchcraft offers the following terms for
  41.     use of its services:

  45.     The Computer Witchcraft WinNET service is billed on
  46.     a connect time basis at the rate of
  47.     
  48.                 $8.00 per hour
  49.                 
  50.     There is a monthly minimum charge of $9.95 while you 
  51.     have an account with us.  This means that if you use less 
  52.     than $9.95 worth of connect time (billed at $8.00 per 
  53.     hour), you will be billed the minimum of $9.95.
  54.      
  55.     There is a per account minimum charge of $9.95.  
  56.     Accounts created and then ended shortly thereafter will 
  57.     be billed at minimum $9.95.
  58.  
  59.     The minimum monthly charge is prorated to the actual
  60.     number of days of service in the first month of service
  61.     and in the last month of service. 
  62.     
  63.     There is no charge for new account set up other than
  64.     a minimum life-time charge of $9.95 per account. 
  65.     Accounts that are created and then disconnected before
  66.     billing $9.95 in connect time or monthly minimum
  67.     charges will be billed a total of $9.95.

  69.     Connect time is recorded in increments of one minute. 
  70.     Fractions of minutes are billed as full minutes.  All
  71.     amounts are denominated in U.S. dollars.

  75.     Computer Witchcraft offers a
  76.     1-800 number service to use to connect with our service.
  77.     The following surcharges apply when using the 1-800
  78.     number service:
  79.     
  80.         M-F, 8am-5pm      18 cents/minute
  81.         All other Times   12 cents/minute
  82.         
  83.     When using the 1-800 number service, Computer Witchcraft
  84.     will calculate your usage and place the appropriate
  85.     charges on your monthly statement.

  87.     Connect time is recorded in increments of one minute. 
  88.     Fractions of minutes are billed as full minutes.  All
  89.     amounts are denominated in U.S. dollars.

  91.     Please note that communication's surcharges do not 
  92.     apply towards the monthly minimum charge of $9.95.

  94.     P a y m e n t
  95.  
  96.     As part of your account registration we
  97.     request a credit card number for payment.  You will be
  98.     charged $9.95 when you first establish your account as
  99.     your account's life-time minimum charge.  This $9.95 is
  100.     fully credited toward connect time charges and your
  101.     monthly minimums if you continue your account.
  102.     
  103.     You will be sent a statement of account usage via
  104.     WinNET mail after the end of the month.  Your credit 
  105.     card will be charged for the amount on the statement.

  107.     Other payment arrangements are possible, please contact
  108.     us.

  110.     E n d i n g   S e r v i c e

  112.     If you choose to terminate your account
  113.     on WinNET, all you need to do is contact us by WinNET
  114.     Mail, letter, or telephone.  We will end your service on
  115.     the date that you request and prorate your minimum
  116.     charge for that month accordingly.

  121.     Computer Witchcraft exercises no control whatever over
  122.     the content of the information passing through the
  123.     WinNET system.  Computer Witchcraft is not responsible
  124.     for the accuracy, quality, or content of the information
  125.     obtained through its service.  Computer Witchcraft makes
  126.     no warranty, whether expressed or implied, for the
  127.     service it offers.  Computer Witchcraft disclaims any
  128.     warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular
  129.     purpose.

  131.     Computer Witchcraft makes no warranty whether expressed
  132.     or implied for the WinNET Mail software.  No warranty of
  133.     merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is
  134.     provided for the WinNET Mail software.

  136.     WinNET may only be used for lawful purposes.
  137.     Transmission of any material in violation of United
  138.     States law, laws of the nation in which WinNET is used,
  139.     or state law or regulation is prohibited.  This 
  140.     includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material,
  141.     material legally judged to be threatening or obscene, or
  142.     material protected by trade secret.  You agree to
  143.     indemnify and hold harmless Computer Witchcraft from any
  144.     claims resulting form your use of the WinNET service or
  145.     WinNET Mail software which damages you or another party.
