OCR: PULSE issue #2 Unlike last issue, this issue includes a smooth scroller for the text. However, slower computers (286:s, 386SX:s and some 386 : s) might experience trouble with this scrolling if you choose too high a playing rate, so remember to choose a playing rate appropriate to your hardware. (don't care about the recommendations in Goldplay!) For example, for 286:s no music is the best alternative and for 386SX:s 4 Khz is best. If you want to hear music at a higher playing rate, go ahead, but use [PgUp] and [PgDn] instead of the arrowkeys when reading the articles. The reason to why you must choose such a low playing rate is NOT due to the code in Pulse, but to the code in Goldplay, which doesn't use the DMA. But it works, which is more than one can say about our still rather buggy player. For the next issue we'll try to fix the bugs in our player. So, o' mighty user, with these facts in mind, do you want music? (Y/N)
