Ha! At last, someone has complained about something and I can say IT'S ALREADY FIXED!
We think we've figured out that our digital phone lines were causing the low voice volume and annoying background noise that has plagued our telephone interviews. We've now got an interview station set up with an analog phone line that gives us a much cleaner signal. This is good, because there's no way we'd stop doing phone interviews. We like giving info to people "from the horse's mouth," as you put it, much more than rehashing what they tell us. And since no other magazine can give it to you . . .
As for patches/shareware, alternating discs doesn't sound like too bad an idea. However, we expect to have more space in the immediate future, since we plan to do either a company profile or an interview (not both) each month. And we have some new staff, which should help us in getting new demos and shareware.
