OCR: Wrestling in the D&D game. Page 1 of 2 WRESTLING IN THE DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS GAME I sometimes get asked by WWF watchers in my campaign, "How do we wrestle?" Rather than having to say that I don't know I've now devised a quick way to see to wrestling in combat. Here it is. 1) To hit someone players must roll 2 more than normal, otherwise their opponent gets a free attack on them. 2) This causes 1d4+strength adjustments damage, no change for armor . 3) In concecuitive rounds the hold continues being applied causing the same amount of damage (no extra roll is needed) until the player lets go or his opponent escapes. 4) To escape the enemy must roll a normal hit on player, however this causes no extra damage. Rolling three more than is required will reverse the hold. 5) A character must have trained at wrestling under a professional trainer for one month(cost 1500gp per level of the hero) or he has another +2 penalty to his hit roll.
