Labels:text | screenshot | rectangle | picture frame OCR: When historians speak of the Spanish Inquisition it is difficult not to have visions of torture chambers filled with all manner of racks and poor heretics being brought to states of near death in an attempt to obtain confessions for various crimes of heresy, Abused, ironically by men who claim to be doing God's will, in an unholy orgy of blood lust, only to be taken outside and burned at the stake after their ordeal. S What this study proposes to do is answer a few fundamental questions which are often ignored when H dealing with the topic of the inquisition, including the motivations behind setting up such a body, why they pursued their goals in such an unholy manner and some of the consequences of their forming in those heady days of 1478.
