In order to finish installing Samba, you need to run the install_samba
script as root. This script will do 4 things.
1. If there is no /usr/samba/var directory, it will create one.
2. If there is no /usr/samba/lib/smb.conf file, an example
one will be created which will only share home directories.
Please see the man page for smb.conf for more information on
creating a configuration file.
3. If there are no samba service entries in the /etc/inetd.conf
file, they will be added.
4. If there are no samba service entries in the root level NetInfo
domain, they will be added.
The script is not complicated and should be able to be easily modified to
suit any specific needs.
