  1.        subject: BOOKMARKS

  3.       overview: A bookmark is a remembered location within a file to
  4.                 which you may return on request.  Each active file
  5.                 inside PC-Type II may have up to four bookmarks.
  6.                 Bookmarks are saved with the file if the file has a
  7.                 .PCT extension, otherwise they are discarded when the
  8.                 file is exited.

  10.                 Normally bookmark processing is handled by keystrokes
  11.                 outside the menus.  However, you can also process them
  12.                 with the Bookmarks Menu shown below which is reached
  13.                 by selecting the "(B)ookmarks" option of the Main
  14.                 Menu.

  28.        setting: (1) Move the cursor to the desired location.
  29.                 (2) Activate the Bookmarks Menu above and press 1, 2,
  30.                     3 or 4.  (This is equivalent to pressing Alt1,
  31.                     Alt2, Alt3 or Alt4 outside the menus).

  33.                 The position in the file is now remembered and the
  34.                 bookmark is set.  To change the position of a
  35.                 bookmark, follow the same procedure and press the same
  36.                 number again.  The new position will replace the old.

  38.      returning: To move to a previously set bookmark position,
  39.                 activate the Bookmarks Menu shown above and select the
  40.                 "(G)oto bookmark" option.  (This is equivalent to
  41.                 pressing Ctrl Q outside the menus.)

  43.                 If only one bookmark exists in the file, PC-Type II will
  44.                 immediately go to that remembered position.  If more
  45.                 than one bookmark exists in the file, then you will be
  46.                 asked to select the bookmark you want by pressing
  47.                 1, 2, 3 or 4.

  49.       clearing: To clear all the bookmarks in a file, activate the
  50.                 Bookmarks Menu shown above and select the "(C)lear
  51.                 marks" option.
