  10. ║ NAMING FILES: A  file's name is shown after the current disk drive  (Eg. A:) ║
  11. ║               and directory  (if it exists).  For example,  to  identify the ║
  12. ║               file EXAMPLE.WP in the directory MYTEXT on drive B, enter:     ║
  13. ║                     B:\MYTEXT\EXAMPLE.WP                                     ║

  15. ║ FILENAME:     A filename consists of one to eight characters (excluding any  ║
  16. ║               spaces).   Optionally,  a period  followed by a  one to  three ║
  17. ║               letter  'extension'  is  used  to  identify the  type of file. ║
  18. ║               Intext uses the two letter extension  'WP'  to indicate a Word ║
  19. ║               Processing file. For example, EXAMPLE.WP.                      ║

  21. ║ DRIVE CHANGE: Your  disk drive is indicated by a single letter followed by a ║
  22. ║               colon. (Eg. A: B: C:).  To change drive, press F2 to blank the ║
  23. ║               line, and enter a new drive.                                   ║

  28. ║ DIRECTORY:    A directory is a list of files. By default, INTEXT  displays a ║
  29. ║               directory of files  ending with the extension .WP. You can ask ║
  30. ║               for  a  directory  of  any  group  of files using the  * and ? ║
  31. ║               `wildcard'  characters.  (* means any characters;  ? means any ║
  32. ║               any one character). Eg:                                        ║
  33. ║                                                                              ║
  34. ║                     *.WP     - Any filename ending with .WP                  ║
  35. ║                     *.*      - Any file, including non-text files            ║
  36. ║                     text?.WP - Would match TEXT1.WP, TEXT2.WP TEXTZ.WP etc   ║
