  3.   This disk contains the following Windows 3.0 drivers for Video Seven
  4.   V-RAM VGA and VGA 1024i:
  5.        V754016.DRV  - 720 x 540 16 color
  6.        V760016.DRV  - 800 x 600 16 color
  7.        V776816.DRV  - 1024 x 768 16 color (requires 512K)
  8.        V7512256.DRV - 720 x 512 256 color (V-RAM VGA 512K only)

  10.   640 x 480 16- and 256-color drivers ship in the Windows 3.0 package.

  12.   Follow these instructions for installing the drivers.  This example
  13.   loads the 800 x 600 16-color driver.  To install a different
  14.   resolution, substitute the driver file name of the resolution you
  15.   wish to install.

  17.   If you already have Windows 3.0 installed using the Video Seven driver
  18.   that is supplied with Windows (640 x 480 with 256 colors):

  20.   1.  Copy the V760016.DRV file from the floppy disk into the \SYSTEM
  21.       subdirectory under the directory where you have installed
  22.       Windows 3.0.  (e.g. WIN3\SYSTEM\)
  23.  
  24.   2.  Using an editor (or the Notepad from within Windows) modify the
  25.       SYSTEM.INI file as follows:
  26.       Change the DISPLAY.DRV= entry under the [Boot] section 
  27.       from:  DISPLAY.DRV=V7VGA.DRV
  28.       to:    DISPLAY.DRV=V760016.DRV
  29.  
  30.   3.  Check that the following lines appear in the [Boot] section:
  31.       386GRABBER=V7VGA.GR3 (386 machines only) and
  32.       286GRABBER=VGACOLOR.GR2
  33.       Make any modifications as necessary.  (If you had installed
  34.       Windows with the standard VGA driver you need to make these changes.

  36.   4.  Save the SYSTEM.INI file.  Restart Windows from the DOS prompt.
  37.       You are now in the 800 x 600 resolution.
  38.  
  39.       Repeat the above steps to change resolutions at any time.

  41.   If you do not have Windows 3.0 installed:
  42.  
  43.   1.  Install Windows 3.0 selecting "Video Seven VGA with 512K" or "VGA",
  44.       depending on your memory configuration, as the display option.

  46.   2.  Follow steps 1 through 4 above to change resolution.
