  1.                          *** REVERSI REVENGE ***
  2.
  3. Do you enjoy playing Reversi under MS-Windows?  Are you sick and tired of
  4. getting your tail kicked by the computer?  Need to impress your friends?  Then
  5. try these sure-fire solutions to show off your game-playing expertise, and put
  6. the computer in its place.
  7.
  8. To show that you know what you're doing, try the following sequence of moves
  9. when running the Beginner level of the game:
  10.
  11.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  12.                 | 14 |  9 |    |  6 | 18 |    | 24 | 32 |
  13.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  14.                 |    |    |  4 |    |    |  2 |    | 33 |
  15.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  16.                 | 15 | 10 |    |    |    |    | 31 |    |
  17.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  18.                 | 12 |    |  7 |    |    |  1 |    |  3 |
  19.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  20.                 | 16 | 19 |    |    |    |    | 30 |    |
  21.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  22.                 |    |    |  5 |  8 | 13 |    |    | 28 |
  23.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  24.                 | 23 | 26 |    |    | 17 | 22 | 29 |    |
  25.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  26.                 | 25 |    | 11 | 20 |    | 21 |    | 27 |
  27.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  28.
  29. If you follow the moves correctly, you will be rewarded with a 64 to 0 win!
  30.
  31. Impressive, huh?  Well, that's the solution you can share with your friends.
  32. However, the next time you see them showing it off to someone, crank the game
  33. up to Expert level and ask them to repeat the trick.  When they fail miserably,
  34. clear the board, verify that you are set for Expert level, and amaze them with
  35. the following solution:
  36.
  37.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  38.                 | 21 |    | 17 |    | 24 |    | 33 | 32 |
  39.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  40.                 | 12 |    |    | 20 |    | 22 | 27 | 34 |
  41.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  42.                 |    | 13 |  8 |    |  9 |    | 28 |    |
  43.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  44.                 | 11 |    |  2 |    |    |  1 |    | 31 |
  45.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  46.                 |  4 |    |  3 |    |    |    |    | 29 |
  47.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  48.                 |    |  6 |    |  7 | 19 | 23 | 26 | 30 |
  49.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  50.                 |  5 |    |    |    |    | 16 |    |    |
  51.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  52.                 | 15 |    | 14 | 10 |    |    | 18 | 25 |
  53.                 +----+----+----+----+----+----+----+----+
  54.
  55. Once again, if properly executed, the board should contain 64 white pieces!
  56. Lean back, put your hands behind your head, and ask if there are any
  57. challengers.  (Don't fall for any bluffs to try the same trick at Master
  58. level.)
  59.
  60. Just remember, use the Beginner level (wimpy) solution to give away, but save
  61. the Expert level solution to be used as your own finale!
