  21.  Please read this and the documentation carefully. Zip Manager is capable
  22.  of some truly powerful Zip File manipulation. We want you to get the most
  23.  from your new program.

  25.  Before you read this short file I would like to ask a favor.
  26.  Please upload this Zip to your favorite BBS. There are many users
  27.  that have the older 2.X version of Zip Manager. I would be most
  28.  grateful if you could pass this one along. Please leave a comment
  29.  to the sysop to remove any previous version of Zip Manager he may
  30.  have on his board.

  32.  If you have any questions, find a bug, or just plain need some help.

  42.  All patches and interim updates will be posted on the WINDOWS BBS ONLY.
  43.  This way I can be sure that all of you are getting the correct updates
  44.  as needed. Only a major upgrade will be posted on CIS.

  46.  --------------------[ LIST.COM USERS PLEASE NOTE ]----------------------
  47.  The only KNOWN problem discovered by the Beta Testers is when trying
  48.  to run LIST.COM (Vern Buergs Program). Certain combinations of
  49.  video cards and Windows don't seem to get along when we ask Zip Manager
  50.  to extract a file from a Zip so that LIST can display it for you.
  51.  
  52.  You will get the "infamous" UAE(Unrecoverable Application Error) message
  53.  and a DOS icon will appear at the bottom of the display that says ZMSHELL.
  54.  You can IGNORE THE UAE(it isn't one). To get LIST to run in this rare case
  55.  simply double click on the ZMSHELL Icon and LIST will start.

  57.  I don't know why this happens only on certain computers and only very
  58.  sporadically. If you have any insight into this I would appreciate hearing
  59.  from you!

  63.  Before you tear off and start Zipping and UnZipping the daylights out of your
  64.  files. It is IMPERATIVE that if you were using version 2.X of Zip Manager
  65.  that you read the Installation portion on the documentation. Failure to do
  66.  so could and most likely WILL cause you to have a problem trying to
  67.  run Zip Manager 3.0  It is a completely new program that has nothing in
  68.  common with the previous versions.

  70.    EVERYONE SHOULD READ THE INSTALLATION PORTION OF THE DOCUMENTATION.

  73.  Version 3 of Zip Manager is a classic example of user supported software.
  74.  If it weren't for your many registrations and tremendous feedback about
  75.  what features were important to you this program would not be in existence
  76.  today.

  79.  sincerest gratitude. It was a pleasure writing this program for all of
  80.  the users who were both kind in their criticisms of version 2.X and offered
  81.  many of the wish list items that made it into this version.
