  1. Unprotecting MAXTHINK .........
  2.    
  3. You will need to use the DOS DEBUG facility to unprotect MAXTHINK. Once
  4. this procedure is done, the floppy disk will no longer be needed and the
  5. files may be placed on a hard disk or network.
  6.    
  7. 1. RENAME MAX.EXE MAX
  8. 2. DEBUG MAX
  9. 3. Type  R  and press ENTER
  10.    Look for the value in CS (second line of the display from R, about
  11.    middle of the screen). Write down the number in CS.
  12. 4. Add 2000 to the number in CS. I will refer to this number as yyyy
  13. 5. Type  E yyyy:CAE 90 90   and press ENTER  (the yyyy is from step 4)
  14. 6. Type  E yyyy:CB3 90 90   and press ENTER  (the yyyy is from step 4)
  15. 7. Type  W  and ENTER
  16. 8. Type  Q  and ENTER
  17. 9. RENAME MAX MAX.EXE
  18.   
  19. That is it. Maxthink is now unprotected.
