  4.               How To Unprotect:  ATI Training Software              JRE

  7.          This information is provided to allow legal owners of the
  8.     above software to liberate themselves from the dependence of a
  9.     single floppy diskette.
  10.  
  11.          Using the below patches, you will be able to make unlimited
  12.     backups of the floppy, but more importantly, be able to boot the
  13.     entire system off a hard disk.
  14.  
  15.          The copy protection method used on this program expects an
  16.     unusually formatted Track 2.  The easiest way around this
  17.     was to patch the 'Verify Track' routine.
  18.  
  19.          When you run the unprotected copy of Chart Master, you will
  20.     get an error message.  You can ignore this an just press <ENTER>.
  21.     I'm sure that this can be bypassed also, but after running the
  22.     program, I was disappointed and decided not to spend any more
  23.     time debugging it.  If you can eliminate this shortcoming, feel
  24.     free to modify this file and upload it to your favorite BBS.

  26.          I assume that you are familiar with DEBUG (found on the 2nd
  27.     DOS diskette).  Everything displayed below in upper-case will be
  28.     supplied by the computer; you must type everything that is in
  29.     lower-case.  Note that the '-' is DEBUG's prompt and should not
  30.     be typed.  Make a copy of the file 'ATI.EXE'; never work
  31.     with you only copy.  Place the program diskette in Drive A,
  32.     and Debug in Drive B.

  47.    Thats It.  Use 'COPY A:*.* B:' to move all files to a formatted
  48. diskette and you will have the whole system unprotected and copyable.
