  5. THE NEW VIRUS, WILL SPERAD ITSELF ACROSS ALL .EXE AND .COM FILES.

  7. UNTIL THE POINT NO PROGRAM CAN BE RUN FROM YOUR DISKS/ DISKETTES.

  9. THE BEST WAY TO FIND OUT IF YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED BY THE VIRUS
  10. IS TO PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:

  12. YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE NORTON UTILIES...

  14. C> CD\
  15. C> PATH C:\NORTON
  16. C> TS *.COM /S sUMsDos
  17.  
  18. check if the string "sUMsDos" was found among your .COM files and take
  19. note of them.

  21. C> TS *.EXE /S sUMsDos
  22. Do the same as above.

  25. After "desinfecting" your hard disk and/or diskettes, you will need a
  26. "anti-virus" to protect your files against a new virus atack.

  28. The anti-virus we wrote, works perfectly and assures you not to be contagied
