WORDWORKER: THE ACCELERATED NEW TESTAMENT
Included on this system disk and the text disk are the files necessary to run
Wordworker. The program WWSETUP will configure a profile for your system.
System: WW.COM,INT.DCT,EXT.DCT,REFFILE,PUNFILE,ALPHSHEL,WW.HLP,XPOINT,XREF
Text: WRDFILE
To start the program, put the System disk in A: and the Text disk in B: and
type "WW" at the DOS prompt.
After starting the program you should examine each help screen to learn about
program operation. A complete Wordworker system with a manual and disks is
available from The Way International.
Also on this disk is the file WW.DEF. This is a set of keyboard macro
definitions for PC-Write. Include the line !WW.DEF in the ED.DEF file of
version 2.6, or copy it into RULER.DEF of earlier versions.

SHAREWARE NOTES:
This system is copyrighted (c) 1986 by The Way International and is distributed
with their permission.
No manual is provided. It is possible through careful study of the program
menus, to use all of the system's features. A manual is provided by The Way
to registered users--these brief notes are intended to help you get started.
Wordworker assumes that you are using a two-floppy disk system. If you have a
hard disk and wish to skip the setup process, then do the following:
1) Boot your hard disk system so that you have the "C>" prompt showing.
2) Issue the DOS command: MKDIR WORDWORK [RETURN] This makes a new
subdirectory on your hard disk for the storage the Wordworker files.
3) Issue the DOS command: CD\WORDWORK [RETURN] This logs you onto the
WORDWORK subdirectory (do a DIR and see what you get).
4) Insert Wordworker System Disk in disk drive A.
5) Issue the DOS command: COPY A:*.* [RETURN]
6) Remove the disk and replace it with the Wordworker system disk.
7) Issue the DOS command: COPY A:*.* [RETURN]
8) Remove the disk from Drive A and put both disks in a safe place.
9) Any time you want to run Wordworker, simply log onto the subdirectory
by issuing the following DOS command: CD\WORDWORK [RETURN]
To start the program, issue the DOS command: WW HD [RETURN]
To change colors or to make a memory resident version of Wordworker, you will
need to run the program WWSETUP.
The Wordworker screen is divided into two halves or "windows." The left half
is the WORD WINDOW: It contains 6063 unique words and provides a count of all
New Testament occurrences. You will use this to select words (or groups of
words) for searches. The right half will display the verses you have selected
or searched for.
Pressing the F1 key puts you into the HELP system. Select and READ each of
the HELP options. Please take your time and read them thoroughly. They
provide a lot of information about using the system.
The remaining function keys allow you to perform certain operations on the
"window" you are currently in. You may always tell the window you are in by
looking for the blinking cursor. Its location will tell you whether you are
in the Word Window or the Verse Window. Switching the "active" window is
simply a matter of using the LEFT and RIGHT ARROW keys.
The F3 key: If you are in the Word Window (the left part of the screen),
pressing F3 allows you to type in a word. When you press return, the program
will display that part of the word list. If you are in the Verse Window,
pressing F3 will allow you to enter in a Book Chapter:Verse. Press return,
and that New Testament verse will appear on the screen.
The F7 key lets you set either a word bookmark (if you are in the Word Window)
or a verse bookmark (if you are in the Verse Window). Later, pressing the F8
key will take you back to the bookmark no matter where you are.
Explore Wordworker and have fun!
