  3.  The enclosed disks contain a new revision of the PC-JigSaw program.
  4.  It was created after several users reported some problems and made useful
  5.  suggestions.
  6.  
  7.                  PC-JigSaw revision 1.2 features :
  8.  
  9.   A) It fixes a problem associated with using a mouse in some systems.
  10.  
  11.   B) PC-JigSaw 1.00 was writing directly to the hardware of the graphics
  12.      card and therefore only 100% IBM compatibles or clones could run
  13.      the old version.  In this 1.2  update a new switch, "S", allows
  14.      systems with simple BIOS compatability to run. ( Eg: Laptops or
  15.      some Tandy computers, so by typing JIG S , the program will work in
  16.      not so IBM compatible systems.

  18.   C) A new level for young children ( 3 X 3 squares ).

  20.   D) A minor program change in the scoring scheme allows the user to get
  21.      higher scores more easily.

  23.   E) Most laptops have 2 graphic cards. One LCD and one external RGB.
  24.      The program detects only the external RGB and therefore it auto-
  25.      switches to external.  So you have to toggle to LCD by using
  26.      the control key combination provided by the manufacturer. ( eg:
  27.      for DATAVUE's SPARK laptop use <CONTROL> <LEFT-SHIFT> <M> )

  29.   F) If you have DOS 2.1 or older and you have problems running this
  30.      program then please try DOS 3.0 or up. ( This problem appears in
  31.      TOSHIBA laptops and some really old XT's  running MSDOS 2.1 )

  33.   G) Minor edits of the JIG.DOC file to reflect the above changes.
