  4. Just a quick note or two about the game.
  5.  
  6. Before playing the game, ensure you run the program 'makestat'. This program
  7. creates the statistics file that is maintained by the computer.
  8.  
  9. This program REQUIRES suitable display hardware that supports Hi-Res EGA
  10. (640x350).
  11.  
  12. This program was my first program written in 'C'.  To say the least, it was
  13. FUN!  There is a help screen available once the computer has generated it's
  14. secret code.
  15.  
  16. As I threatened before, I added a (V)ery Hard option, with 5 slots.
  17.  
  18. There was also a bug where the program didn't close out the graphics mode
  19. when quitting the game after the stats.fil file wasn't found, or couldn't
  20. be read for some reason.
