  1.                                    Static PC-Hypertext Nodes

  4. Static nodes display information.  While such nodes may contain branches or
  5. references to other files/programs, these nodes do not directly modify
  6. information in the way active nodes <file12> do.
  7.  
  8. PC-Hypertext currently supports four kinds of static nodes.  They are:

  10. Knowledge networks                  <hyper.net>  This network
  11.  
  12. ASCII files:
  13.     Single screen example           <file1>  Overview
  14.     Multiple screen example         <file2>  Program calls
  15.     Wide screen example             <file16> Spreadsheet example

  17. ColorTX files -- 4K character-graphic format compatible with BW/CGA/EGA cards
  18.     <ColorTX.1>  Flashing squares    NOT ON DISK BECAUSE OF LIMITED SPACE
  19.  
  20. PC-Paintbrush file (displays in CGA/EGA mode only)
  21.     <whales.pic> Underwater whales   NOT ON DISK BECAUSE OF LIMITED SPACE
