  1. This program simulates the arms race and a global nuclear war following it.
  2. The files in the program are MAP, WAR.BAS, and WAR.DOC.
  3. Read WAR.DOC before running the program.
  4. The program runs on a PCjr using cassette basic.
  5. The program takes quite a long time to load, so be patient.
  6. After the program is loaded, it displays a title screen, then a U.S. flag,
  7. and then an armaments page.  At that point the program begins to prompt
  8. for input.
  9. When war is declared, two screens of information are displayed, then a
  10. world map appears, and the conflict begins.
