  10.      Although there are many excellent utilities available for 
  11.  
  12. the IBM-PC and compatibles, few competent people have addressed 
  13.  
  14. the problem of keeping the machine clean. There have been some 
  15.  
  16. text files on taking apart your Tandons and so forth, but they do 
  17.  
  18. not automate the process. I myself, was bitterly disappointed by 
  19.  
  20. SWEEP which appeared to devote itself to various forms of file 
  21.  
  22. manipulation and did absolutely nothing to remove the crumbs 
  23.  
  24. which encrust my keyboard. Much the same could be said of the 
  25.  
  26. various WINDOW packages. Accordingly, I set to work on WHIZ.COM.
  27.  
  28.      Most are aware that CRT's require constant cleaning  because 
  29.  
  30. dust particles adhere to their outside surface. Less well  known, 
  31.  
  32. is the fact that their inside surfaces become deeply  coated with 
  33.  
  34. soot--something not always readily apparent, but why else would 
  35.  
  36. so many of them be known as RGB ? The B of course, being black. 
  37.  
  38. WHIZ.COM (I would have preferred to call it SWEEP--but that has 
  39.  
  40. been usurped) does an excellent job of removing these noxious 
  41.  
  42. deposits from the inside of your CRT.
  43.  
  44.      I trust you will find this as useful as the other utilities
  45.  
  46. in the FAKEWARE series.
