  3. The Ford Customer Response sec-
  4. tion presents you with a series
  5. of questions that allows Ford to
  6. respond to your specific infor-
  7. mation requests as well as prov-
  8. ides Ford with the information
  9. to make better products for you.
  10.  
  11. To view all the parts of the
  12. Customer Response section, follow
  13. the user instruction at the bot-
  14. tom of each screen.

  16. Use the <BACKSPACE> key to cor-
  17. rect any alphanumeric entries.

  20. Press <SPACEBAR> to continue.

  22. HELP: Ford Model List
  23.  
  24. In this screen, you select the
  25. model you wish to learn more 
  26. about. Use the up and down arrow 
  27. keys to move the highlight bar 
  28. to the model of your choice, 
  29. then press <ENTER> to select. If
  30. you move up or down to the words
  31. "More Models", the list will 
  32. scroll, showing you more of the
  33. 29 models.

  35. While in the Buyer's Guide, you 
  36. may select a new model at any 
  37. time by pressing <F2> which re-
  38. turns you to this screen.

  45. This menu allows you to select
  46. the part of the Buyer's Guide
  47. you wish to go to next. Press a

  90. selected. Press <SPACEBAR> to see

  92. additional options that you can
  93. add to your model.

  108. This part of the Buyer's Guide
  109. shows you what Option Packages
  110. are available for your model. Note
  111. the savings you receive with many 
  112. packages by purchasing a package 
  113. rather than individual options.

  115. You can add an option package to 
  116. the Ford model of your choice by 
  117. pressing <ENTER> when the package 
  118. is displayed. Pressing <ENTER>
  119. again will cancel the selection.

  121. other Options are available for 
  122. your model.

  127. HELP: Additional Options

  129. This part of the Buyer's Guide
  130. lets you select from a list of 
  131. individual options available for
  132. the model you have chosen.

  134. Use the up and down arrow keys to 
  135. move the highlight bar to an op-
  136. tion. Select an option by pressing
  137. <ENTER>. Cancel a selected option 
  138. by pressing <ENTER> once more. The
  139. total cost for your selected
  140. options is shown at the bottom of
  141. the spreadsheet. When you are 
  142. finished, press <SPACEBAR> to con-
  143. tinue on to print a sample window
  144. sticker for your selected model.

  148. HELP: Window Sticker Printout
  149.  
  150. This part of the Buyer's Guide 
  151. will allow you to print out a 
  152. sample window sticker for your
  153. selected model, which includes 
  154. Specifications, Major Standard
  155. Features, selected Option Pack-
  156. ages, selected Additional 
  157. Options and the total price.

  159. When you are finished printing,
  160. press <SPACEBAR> to go to the 
  161. Financial Spreadsheet to calcu-
  162. late your total estimated finance
  163. charges and monthly payments.

  169. HELP: Buyer's Plan
  170.  
  171. The Financial Spreadsheet allows 
  172. you to view your model's total 
  173. vehicle price, including options'
  174. costs, and enter the information
  175. necessary to calculate your total
  176. estimated finance charges and month-
  177. ly payments. The highlight bar can
  178. be moved up and down with the arrow 
  179. keys.  Use the number keys to enter
  180. a value into the spreadsheet. Press 
  181. <BACKSPACE> to erase an entry. 
  182. Press "C" to cancel a change. Press
  183. <ENTER> to confirm a value, which 
  184. automatically recalculates the 
  185. spreadsheet and moves the highlight
  186. bar to the next input field.
