Here is a brief rundown of changes that were made from version 1.2
to version 2.3:
1) A 'turbo' cursor was added for people without a mouse.
Holding the <shift> key while using the cursor keys will
make the cursor move faster.
2) The change command was done away with. Now, to make
change, just pick up the number of chips to change and
place them on the pile of chips you wish to change them
into. This is a lot faster than the old method.
3) The Place bets were altered so that when you won, you
are given the choice to keep the bet, double the bet or
take the bet down. This is more like the real game.
4) Place bets and Buy bets are now 'off' on the come out roll.
I forgot to do this in the original version.
5) A statistics function was added. It keeps track of how
many times the game has been played and how much as been
won or lost on the various bets. This information is
written to disk.
6) A Odds On/Off toggle switch was added. This allows you
to specify if the Odds are 'working' or not. If the
Odds are 'OFF', then they will have no effect on the bet,
whether it wins or loses.
NOTE: This will turn off ALL the odds on the table. If you
want to turn off the Odds on a single bet, use the Bet Info
function.
7) The Come bets were modified to allow 6 bets instead of only 5.
I know the odds of being able to use this new feature are slim,
but they allow you to do that in a real casino, so who am I to
say that you can't do it in my game.
8) The odds are now 'off' on the come out roll. Yes, I forgot to
do this too.
9) A small bug was found in calculating double odds on the 5 & 9.
10) The program now looks for a mouse driver before it ask you if
you want to use one. This will prevent people without a mouse
the aggrevation of constantly being asked if they want to use
one, and locking up the system if they say yes when they really
don't have one.
11) You can now roll the dice by moving the cursor to the dice and
and clicking the mouse. The game didn't need this feature,
but someone had asked for it and it only took about 30 seconds
to implement.
