****THIS IS A PF4 PICK LIST FIELD****
This field is for entering the TYPE of
coin. ie.(NICKEL - SHIELD). This is a
KEY field used for sorting data.
NOTE: Using PF4 will display a pick-
list of acceptable names for use in
this field. When using PF4, you can
eliminate scrolling through all the
entries by specifying an approximate
partial key ie. (N) will start at the
NICKEL portion of the list. Scrolling
down the list you will see the entries
HIGHLIGHTED as you pass over them.
When an appropriate entry is located
and highlighted pressing ENTER will
move that entry to the TYPE field.

0b0d270933304000000000000000000000000000 GRADE
**** A PF4 PICK-LIST FIELD ****
Indicates the grade of the coin
being entered. This is another
pick-list field. The listed
grades are sufficient to cover
most all situations with the
exception of SLIDERS or split
grades. Once again, I chose
to add the pick-list so that
all entries would be uniform.
If you specify that a report
or display should show only
your perfect proof coins then
all the coins graded that way
MUST be uniform on the data-
base.

0c132f0b33304000000000000000000000000000 STATUS
This field is intended to be used as
an indicator for reports and displays.
I recommend that you use the following
CODES: I = IN STOCK, you have the coin.
The default response.
T = TRADED, you traded for some
other coin or item.
R = REPLACED, you upgraded the
coin.
S = SOLD, you sold the coin.
W = WANT, you can generate a
want list to be used when
you attend shows etc. This
will require some extra data
entry but the printed report
will be handy.

as TYPE "SMALL CENT - LINCOLN"
VARIETY 1955 DOUBLE DIE.

The BOOK value of the coin.
This information is far too
dynamic to be assigned by
this program. The price of
coins change hourly. This
information is available
in most coin publications.
For convenience, I have put
this field here along with
the COST field. When you
enter a retail and cost I
calculate your profit and
percentage of profit based
on gross profit margin.
NOTE: If you don't want the
cost figure to be on
the screen, use the
INQUIRY screen.
